Are you an organization that provides services in the Charlottesville community? Do you have a potential public service project that requires volunteers and funding? You may be interested in applying for the Alpha Phi Omega Service Partnership Award, which is offered by the Alpha Phi Omega (APO) Theta Chapter at UVA. We seek to partner with a local organization for a fully funded day-long service project in October with 75 volunteers from our chapter.
In past years, new members have reached out to organizations individually in order to find potential project sites. However, we are hoping that this Service Partnership Application better suits the needs of both our partner organization and the community they serve. With this application, we hope to improve the quality of service that APO provides to the Charlottesville community by fostering stronger communication with site contacts and allowing additional time for planning.
